CVE-2021-29507
Detail
Description
GENIVI Diagnostic Log and Trace (DLT) provides a log and trace interface. In versions of GENIVI DLT between 2.10.0 and 2.18.6, a configuration file containing the special characters could cause a vulnerable component to crash. All the applications which are using the configuration file could fail to generate their dlt logs in system. As of time of publication, no patch exists. As a workaround, one may check the integrity of information in configuration file manually.
NVD Analysts use publicly available information to associate vector strings and CVSS scores. We also display any CVSS information provided within the CVE List from the CNA.
Note: It is possible that the NVD CVSS may not match that of the CNA. The most common reason for this is that publicly available information does not provide sufficient detail or that information simply was not available at the time the CVSS vector string was assigned.

Note: NVD Analysts have published a CVSS score for this CVE based on publicly available information at the time of analysis. The CNA has not provided a score within the CVE List.

### Impact _What kind of vulnerability is it? Who is impacted?_ The vulnerable component could be crashed when the configuration file is intentionally/ unintentionally containing the special characters. All the applications which are using could fail to generate their dlt logs in system. ### Patches _Has the problem been patched? What versions should users upgrade to?_ There is solution for the problem but the patch is not integrated yet. ### Workarounds _Is there a way for users to fix or remed
